Virginia Gaddes Obituary

Virginia Christine Polasek-Gaddes

1933 - 2020

Virginia Christine Polasek-Gaddes was born on November 16, 1933 in LaGrange, Texas to her parents Rudolph Herman Polasek and Minnie Alma Roensch-Polasek.  Virginia passed from this earth to return to her Lord and Savior on March 13, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Virginia was raised in a loving household where she attended Catholic Church.  She attended LaGrange High School and met and later married Frank Gaddes Sr. at the age of 29.  Virginia was a lot of things to a lot of different people. She was a bartender most of her life, where she became proficient in talking to people, which made her very well rounded about the social issues of the day.  She was a huge Donald Trump supporter and just loved the man. Virginia loved the outdoors, where one of her passions was tending to her plants and to her yard.  Virginia was a highly intelligent lady and she was a master of cross word puzzles.  Virginia however, was not identified by those merits. It was her family that she excelled at the most.  She was a loving sister, a wonderful mother, a tender grandmother and a doting great grandmother.  Anything for her family was her Mantra.  She loved spending time with them and really enjoyed cooking and making potato salad, as that was always a favorite request from her family.

Virginia is survived by her son, Butch and his wife Linda Gaddes; her daughters, Sharon Tuck and Dawn Walker; her sons Frank Jr. and James Gaddes.  Virgiania leaves behind her grandkids, Shannon Gaddes, Glenn Kent, Crystal Walker, Misty Grant, Frankie Gaddes, Chase Gaddes, Hannah Gaddes, Johnathan Gaddes, James Patrick Gaddes and Larry Gaddes.  Virginia is also survived by her loving great grandchildren, Christian Jones, Parker and Peyton Gaddes and Destiny and Hunter Gaddes.

Virginia is preceded in death by her son, Jackie Gaddes; her daughters, Diana Valerie Fisk and Darlene Ingalls; her mother and father, Minnie and Rudolph Polasek; her brothers, Larry, Garland, Leroy, Rudie and Charlie Polasek.

While Virginia's family is greatly saddened by her death, they rejoice and celebrate her reunion with the family members that went before her and her Lord and Savior in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The family invites anyone that knew and loved Virginia to come and celebrate her life.  A life well lived on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel on the grounds of Azleland Cemetery at 850 N. Cardinal Rd.  Azle, Texas 76020
