Vickie Rae Byrd 

1946 - 2023 

Our beloved mother, Vickie Rae Byrd, 76 of Azle, TX went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends. 
She was born April 1, 1946 to Frank Leo Bles and Ella Ladon "Sally" Summers Bles in Scott City, Missouri.  She married the love of her life, Jimmie Byrd, on September 14, 2002 in Fort Worth. TX, but the two had been together since 1993.
Vickie was a member of the Haltom City Moose Lodge for many years and loved supporting Mooseheart Charities.  She loved being outdoors, especially with a fishing pole in hand.  Above all, Vickie enjoyed being in the presence of her family, cooking and talking reciepes.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Haltom City and Pastor C.M. Mosley will officiate her funeral service.

Vickie has been reunited with her beloved husband, Jimmie Byrd, parents, two brothers, and two sisters, in God's Eternal Kingdom.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughters, Tina Kessler of Fort Worth and Kelly Orr of Azle; step-daughter, Stephanie Jones of Douglasville; step-son, J.C. Byrd of Midland; sisters, Barbara Walls of Uvalda, GA and Dianne Seaton of Haltom City, TX;grandchildren, Shawn Thedford, Jonathan Thedford, Amanda Calk, Lacy Falls, Nicki Byrd, Ryker Byrd, Justin Miller, Dustie Miller, Jayla Sanders, and Michael Byrd; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Gage, Atticus, Aubree, Reighlynn, Corbin, Hagen, Annah, Noah and Leia; her cherished church family and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 AM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 10:00 AM.
