Travis Alan Peterson
1993 - 2020
Travis Peterson was born on March 8, 1993 in Kankakee, Illinois to his parents Paul Leroy Peterson Jr and Brenda Lea Kloss-Peterson. Travis grew up in a very loving family with his two brothers Ronald and Michael. Family meant everything to Travis, and he was constantly surrounded by their love. Travis returned to his Lord and Savior on January 20, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Travis went to high school in Azle, Texas and graduated from there in 2011. After graduating high school, Travis worked as an electrician's apprentice. He was very proud of the career choice he was pursuing and enjoyed trying to perfect his craft.
While work was important to Travis, his real passion was music, as it was always first in his life. Travis was the kind of person that never met a stranger and never judged people. Travis was an incredibly open-minded person, who was always laid back and casual. In fact, Travis was so casual, that his favorite attire was his robe, his crocs, his tank top shirts and most importantly his Beanie cap Travis had a great sense of humor and loved spending time playing X Box, riding four wheelers, carving pumpkins, playing hacky-sac, and going paint balling with his friends. Travis had an affinity for tattoos and loved his pets Gunner and Trigger. While Travis was not known to be the world's best cook, he gained quite a reputation as the guy you could depend on to blow up the microwave just trying to cook some Ramen Noodles. Travis loved his mom's spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo. One of his evening past times was to sit in front of the TV and watch The Walking Dead with Alicia. He loved South Park, The Simpson’s, the movies Stepbrothers and Bad Santa.
Travis is survived by his parents, Paul and Brenda; his brothers, Ronald P. Peterson and his wife Alicia and Michael A. Peterson and his wife, Tiffany. Travis is also survived by his grandmother, Donna Bonager, his aunts, Vickie Conrad, Bonnie Volaric, Robin Watt and Lori McDaniels. His uncles, Brad Kloss, Kevin Peterson, Donald Peterson, Robert Peterson and Shawn Kloss. Travis leaves behind his nephews, Landon and Dakoda Peterson and his nieces, Kayleigh, Brooke and Sydney Peterson along with a countless number of other relatives and friends.
