Trae Allen Denson, 44, passed away suddenly on May 13, 2020, in Azle, Texas. He was born on June 13, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas to Gary and Joyce Denson. Trae received his Associate's Degree from Weatherford College and worked as a drug counselor for a period of time. Trae was a proud and loving father to Baylee and Jordan and he always said his greatest achievement in life were his children and always wanted more for them. He was a pillar of strength for his family and a father figure to countless others. He loved fiercely, with his whole heart, and cared more about others than himself. He was the most amazing father, brother, son, uncles, cousin, friend, and husband. He had the biggest heart and was a best friend to so many. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and collecting sports cards. He was an amazing cook and loved grilling and comparing notes with his brother Jeff. Trae and his children shared a love of music and he also enjoyed playing guitar. He was very artistic and had an amazing eye as a photographer. He loved spending time with his friends and family; if you were his friend he considered you his family and would do anything in the world for you. Trae met his wife Tara in 2013 and shared seven amazing years together before his sudden passing. We truly lost one of the best men that ever lived. In his own mother's words, "We may not have much but we will always be rich in love." Our would will never be the same.
Trae is preceded in death by his mother Joyce, and his oldest brother Gene.
Trae is survived by his wife Tara, children Baylee and Jordan, father Gary Denson and wife Donna, brother Jeff Denson and wife Angie, four step-sisters and one step-brother, mother and father-in-law Jerry and Darlene Tatum, sister-in-law Kim Gestring, nephews and nieces Jody, Conor, Tonna, Megan, Jessica, Justin, Emily and Jenna; and numerous great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
