Tony McInroe Obituary

Tony Lane McInroe

1964 - 2023

Tony Lane McInroe, born on February 2, 1964, in Abilene Texas, passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Tony was known for his outgoing and fun-loving personality. He always wanted to be the center of attention and life of the party, but he also had a kind heart and a desire to be a mentor, leader, and friend to those around him. Tony had a passion for his work and loved his work family at Standard Utility, where he made many close friendships.

In addition to his outgoing personality and love for his family and friends, Tony Lane McInroe had a unique way of expressing himself. He had a favorite word that he used often, "forethought," which he imparted to those around him as a way of encouraging them to think ahead and be prepared for any situation.

Tony's love of forethought was not just limited to his personal life. In his professional life, he always made sure that his team at Standard Utility was well-prepared for any project or challenge that they faced. He was a natural leader who inspired his colleagues to strive for excellence and think critically about their work.

Tony's legacy of forethought and his commitment to those around him will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones long after his passing.

Tony was the son of Peggy Elizabeth Lane and Herbert Floyd Smith, and he is survived by his loving wife, Amy, nine children, ten grandchildren, and three sisters, as well as many extended family members and friends. Tony will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered with fondness and a smile.
