Toni Lee Collingsworth

1950 - 2023

Toni Lee Collingsworth went to be with the Lord on June 20,2023.   Born on January 5, 1950 in Beaver, OK., to Harold and Natalie Phelps.   She attended school at Balko High School in Balko, OK. Toni met the love of her life, Bruce Collingsworth, in Perryton, TX. Toni and Bruce were married on June 12, 1970 and set up house in Perryton. They began raising their two children, Matthew and Cody Collingsworth.  Toni started her career working for Coke a Cola Bottling Co. in Perryton until she decided to attend College at Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Guymon, OK. She studied accounting and graduated Summa Cum Lade. After college she became a Certified Public Accountant passing the exam on her first attempt.  Toni and Bruce then moved to Arlington, TX where Toni became the Chief Accountant for the city of Arlington.  Toni moved on to Vice President of Accounting for DFW Airport where she had a hand in the expansion of the airport before retiring. Toni and Bruce moved to Azle, TX where she lived out the rest of her life.  She passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside. 

She was preceeded in death by her father, Harold Phelps. 

Toni will be deeply and lovingly missed by her mother Natalie; her dedicated husband of 53 years, Bruce; sons, Cody and Matthew; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and two grandsons, Bruce and Cale Collingsworth. 

 Mom you are loved and will be missed by all that knew and loved you.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 AM.  A Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be held at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
