Thomas Cless Gibson
1977 – 2022
Thomas Cless Gibson went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 20, 1977, to Thomas Roy Gibson and Carol Sue Barger in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Thomas was known as TC to his close friends and family. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in September 2020. He fought long and hard. As a young man, he made a family in Indiana but moved back to Texas in 2019. TC was a family man, he absolutely loved his six girls. He was a proud man, proud of his name, proud of his country, and proud of his family. TC loved to travel and explore new things. He worked in metal shops for over 20 years. He made friends with a mother of a young girl sick with cancer. He would send the sick girl care packages to brighten her day while she was in the hospital. TC was a beloved volunteer with a non-profit organization, Honoring Our Military Everywhere. He would put in long hours to help our men and women serving as well as our veterans. TC would volunteer after his chemo treatments. He insisted on visiting the homeless veteran shelters even when he struggled to walk. He wanted to show his respect and appreciation for our freedom.
TC is proceeded in walking through Heaven’s gate by his father, Thomas R. Gibson, and nephew, Matthew R. Gibson.
He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his mother, Carol S. Gibson Yates; his daughters, Carol Wright, Charlene Gibson, Kelly Gibson, Christina Gibson, Vanessa (Courtney) Gibson, and Angel Gibson; his grandsons, Thomas Wright and John Kelly; his brother, Charles Gibson and his spouse, Frances Gibson; his eight nephews and aunts and uncles who all loved him.
A funeral service will be held on May 6, 2022, beginning at 2:00 P.M at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home followed by interment at Azleland Cemetery.
