Stacey Wooten Obituary

Stacey Wooten

1962 - 2019

Stacey Thrash-Wooten was born December 19, 1962 in McKinney, Texas to her parents, James Mitchell and Rissilla Ann Evans-Thrash.

As a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother, she was strong, capable and tireless, always striving to make everything better, with quiet strength. She always saw the good in every person, and in every single situation. Stacey was a graceful soul that loved and lived with every moment she was given, neither hard times, nor cancer would rob her of who she was. She was a confidant and grace filled lady, a second mother to many, and a dedicated prayer warrior with wisdom beyond her years.  In the kitchen, Stacey had a gift.  She had an uncanny ability to take the simple and make it gourmet.  She could turn fried taters and beans into a feast, that made you feel like you were eating at a 5 star restaurant.  For all of Stacey's talents, her biggest mark in life was her family.  She treasured each and every one of them and recognized each one of them for their unique traits.

Stacey is â€‹survived by her husband, Calvin Wooten and her brother, Jeff Thrash.
Stacey leaves behind her children: Stephanie Wooten, Jennifer Saunders, Joseph and his wife, Megan Moody-Wooten and Chris and his wife, Beronica Wooten.
Stacey will be greatly missed by her ten loving grandchildren.

While the family is greatly saddened by Stacey's passing, they rejoice her new eternal life and reunion with her parents Jim and Rissilla (Rae) Thrash,
her sister, Deborah Wooten and her nephew, Brian Wooten in her new eternal home in The Kingdom of Heaven.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Azleland Cemetery at 850 N. Cardinal Rd. in Azle, Texas.
