Sergeant First Class Richard Clifton Ramirez, 36 years old of Azle, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018. He was born in Oklahoma City and went to school in Yukon. Rick was a career military man. He served in the Air Force from 2002 – 2004 then reenlisted into the Army 2005 to present time. During his service he was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where he distinguished himself for exceptional meritorious service by earning the Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal. Rick served his country faithfully until his passing. Rick was a “MANS MAN”, jack of all trades; there was not much he couldn't do. He was a great man who taught his sons how to live an exemplary life by showing love, kindness and respect to others. Rick treasured and loved his wife beyond all measures. Rick enjoyed the outdoors. He would rather spend his time hunting or fishing.
A beloved Husband, Father and Son, Rick’s memory will forever be etched upon our hearts.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his sons, Riley and Caleb; his parents, Ed Ramirez, Joyce and Kevin Kelley; his sister, Jennifer Linduff; his grandparents, Cliff and Billie Galaway; in addition to many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, In-laws and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home, 850 N. Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020.
