Russell Wayne Wilt

1961 - 2022

Russell Wayne Wilt, beloved father, brother, son and friend, passed away on August 1, 2022. He was born on January 8, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to Todd L. Wilt and Carolyn Sue Carter. 
Russell, better known as Russ, was passionate about his trade.  He was an extremely skilled engineer working as Lead Engineer for the Hyatt Regency at DFW for the past 32 years.  Russ’s strong work ethic is a characteristic that was passed to his children from a young age.  When he wasn’t working, he often spent his time travelling, but during football season, every Sunday, you could find Russ supporting his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.  He will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Russell Wayne Wilt is survived by his children, Randy Wilt, Josh Wilt, Carrie Mills and husband, David, Steven Wilt, Tyler Wilt, Johnathan Wilt and wife, Brandi, and Russell Weston Wilt and wife, Misty; parents, Carolyn Turner and Todd L. Wilt; brothers, Todd Wilt, Kirk Wilt, and Lee Wilt; many beautiful grandchildren; and a host of friends who became family.
 

Funeral Services will be rendered on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
