Rose Mary King
1950 – 2020
Rose Mary King was born in Childress, Texas on September 16, 1950 to Billie Jo Monson and Ben Gene Blacknoll. Rose gave her life to Christ at an early age.
Rose graduated in 1969, from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas. To many she was know as “Aunt Rose”. She had a kind and encouraging spirit and had a way of touching those she came in contact with. She was always positive and offered words of encouragement. Rose enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, loved game shows, cross words puzzles, and was an all around sports fanatic.
Rose began working at an early age as a seamstress. She went on to work at the corporate office at JCPenney for more than 20 years and later worked at Walmart for 16 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her mother, Billie Jo Monson; sister, Eddie Jean Adams; brothers, Joe Wayne Monson, Billy Ray Monson, Lloyd C. Brown, Harold Brown, David Brown; special nieces and nephews, Rodney Cornish (Samuel), Amanda Bingham (Justin), Cameron Cornish, Ashton and Behr Bingham; numerous cousins; along with other loving family members and friends.
A public vistitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 28, 2020 at our Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel located, 850 N Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020
