Rene Martinez Cruz went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2020 in Odessa, Texas. Rene was born on May 26, 1964 to his parents, Pablo C. Cruz and Angelita Cruz in Slaton, Texas.

We are here to celebrate the life of, Rene M Cruz, a great father, grandfather, brother and wonderful friend. Rene and his wife Grace met and then built their home and a beautiful family in Odessa, Texas. He was the funniest and boldest of all kids. Rene had talents that only the Lord could bless him with, such as his carpentry abilities. If Rene could send a message, it would be to please don’t cry. Rene is loving his new home, the streets are Gold, no pain, no tears, its just pure love and joy.

Rene will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Grace Cruz; his parents, Pablo and Angelita Cruz; his children, Misty and husband, Librado Jr., Stephanie and husband, Michael, Eric and wife, Isabel; his step-daughter, Evangeline; his step-sons, Julian Jr., Christopher and Jeremy; his granddaughters, Alexia, Haley, Natalie, Taya, Alaina M, Sienna and Citlali; his grandsons, Librado III, Anthony, baby Xavier Rene, Jeremiah, Julian, Thunder, Noah and  Michael; his siblings, Victor and wife, Hope, Maryann, Lydia and husband Jimmy Joann and husband, Fernando,  Pablo Jr. and wife, Monica, Ernest and wife, Gloria; along with other loving family members and dear friends.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday February 16, 2020 from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at our Azle and Lake Worth Funeral home located in 850 N Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday February 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.  at our Azle and Lake Worth Funeral home located in 850 N Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020

Interment Monday February 17, 2020 at Azlelalnd Cemetery 

Reception after the interment at 6732 Red Bud Rd. Fort Worth, Texas 76135
