Phoebe Aguilar Ulloa, 44, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2021, at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 PM.
Phoebe was born on July 31, 1976 in Brownwood, Texas to Patricia Ortegon and Santiago Aguilar but was raised and loved as his own by David Gomez. In 1995, she graduated from Brooke Smith High School before dedicating her time to helping people with MHMR alongside of her mother, Patricia. Later, she became the caretaker of her nephew, “her MoMo”, Moses De La Torre, who she loved as her own. Phoebe was always the life of the party and found so much joy in dancing and listening to music leading her to becoming a radio personnel for the Tejano Promotional DJ in Austin. She spent a lot of her time traveling, but Phoebe genuinely cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her lovely daughters, Enelly Arriage and Adaline Hernandez. After years of raising children, nephews, and grandchildren, Phoebe found and married her true love, Freddie Ulloa. Her contagious laugh, witty humor, and compassionate heart will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known Phoebe.
She has been reunited with her mother, Patricia Ortegon, and father, David Gomez, in God’s Eternal Kingdom.
Phoebe will be deeply missed by her husband, Freddie Ulloa; daughter, Enelly Arriage and Adaline Hernandez; grandsons, Robert Ortegon and Liam Ulloa; sisters, Olivia Gomez, Priscilla Gomez, Linda Gomez, Christina Happy, and Catherine Campbell; brothers, Edward Campbell and Thomas Campbell; brother-in-laws, Frankie De La Torre and Abraham De La Torre; nieces, Yessina De La Torre, Nydia De La Torre, and Stephanie Campbell; nephews, Edward Campbell, Jonathan Campbell, Carlos Murga, and Javier De La Torre; aunts; uncles; a host of cousins who were dear to her heart; and many friends and loved ones whose lives were impacted by her laugh, jokes, and caring personality.
