Paulette Garon Sanders, born on February 25, 1954, in Biddeford, Maine, passed away on June 2, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved daughter of Marcel and Pauline Garon.

Paulette lived a remarkable life filled with love, compassion, and dedication. She was a woman of many talents and passions, always finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Paulette's hobbies included sewing, gardening, baking, taking leisurely walks, coloring, and playing with her cherished grandchild.

Paulette's journey began with a profound sense of duty and service to her country. She proudly served in the Air Force for ten years, showcasing her unwavering commitment and bravery. Her military service was a testament to her strength and patriotism, leaving an indelible mark on her character.

After her honorable service, Paulette embarked on a successful career at Lockheed, where she devoted her skills and expertise. She retired from Lockheed, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

While her professional achievements were noteworthy, Paulette's greatest source of pride and fulfillment came from her role as a loving mother and grandmother. She raised two children with unwavering love and support, instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and integrity. Paulette's children were her greatest blessings, and she delighted in their every success.

In her role as a grandmother, Paulette found pure joy and happiness. Spending time with her grandchild brought out her playful and nurturing spirit. Whether it was reading stories, teaching her new skills, or simply sharing laughter, Paulette created countless treasured memories with her granddaughter.

Paulette Garon Sanders will forever be remembered as a devoted daughter, a proud veteran, a dedicated professional, a loving wife and mother, and a doting grandmother. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the values she instilled in her family and friends.

She has been reunited with her mother, Pauline; father, Marcel; sister, Jeanine; and brother, Michael Garon, in God's Eternal Kingdom.

Paulette will be deeply and lovingly remembered by her husband, Matt Sanders; children, David Sanders and Kristy Thurber and husband, Michael; granddaughter, Sophia Thurber; and a host of extended family and friends. 

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM.

Private Interment will be rendered at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
