Oslene Agnes Haywood, a beloved seamstress, devout prayer warrior, and cherished matriarch, passed away on May 29, 2023. Born on August 11, 1949, in Guyana, she was the daughter of Vernel Ivan Haywood and Alwina Evelina Gefferie. Oslene's unwavering faith, kind spirit, and numerous talents touched the lives of those around her.

As a seamstress in the clothing industry, Oslene's skilled hands brought beauty and elegance to countless garments. She poured her heart into her work, and her dedication shone through every stitch. Not only did she create masterful designs, but she also lovingly crafted each of her daughters' wedding dresses, a testament to her love and devotion to her family.

Her ability to weave narratives created lasting memories and fostered a deep connection with those fortunate enough to hear her stories.

Above all else, Oslene cherished her family. She was the glue that held them together, offering love, support, and guidance to her children and grandchildren.
