Melinda Lee Porter
1961 - 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of Melinda Lee Porter of White Settlement, TX. She passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 61 from a long, corageous battle with cancer.
Melinda enjoyed cooking, decorating, crafts and spending time with and caring for her three grandchildren. Her infectious smile and kind loving heart will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Hammersley; father, James Hammersley; sister, Rebecca Massey; and brother, James “Jimbo” Hammersley.
Melinda will be deeply and lovingly missed by her husband of 32 years, David Porter; daughter, Misty Trudell; sister, Danna O’Dell; three loving grandchildren, Lincoln Trudell, Zechariah Trudell, and Trinity Trudell; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle, Texas.
