Maudine Calhoun Booth of Blue Mound, Texas, 74, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020.
Maudine was born November 13, 1945, in Madisonville, Texas to Finis and Zelder Calhoun. She had been an area resident for over 60 years. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Methodist Church of Fort Worth. After God, the most important thing to her was family, and she treasured them all. She always made the time to attend any events that involved her children, grandchildren or great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family, being outdoors, and traveling. Everyone was her family, blood or not; she opened her home to many a niece, nephew, sister, brother, or grandchild when they needed a place to call home. Although she did not have much, Maudine was always willing to share. She was “Salt of the Earth”, a true woman of God, and a blessing to everyone that knew her.
Maudine was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Robert F. Booth, precious daughter, Joann; a beloved grandson, Little Jim; parents; sisters Mary Lou and Marilyn; and brothers JW and Norman.
