Martin Edward “Eddie” Jackson, Jr.
4/11/1946 – 2/25/2021
Cowboy. That is the best way to describe Eddie “PawPaw” Jackson. A genuine, whole-hearted, hard-working, life-living, animal-loving cowboy. Always a friend, willing to lend a hand to anyone, the epitome of the Good Samaritan, he is now checking fences in greener pastures, checking his most prized herd of cattle, riding the best horse he has ever ridden. We can only imagine the view he has now.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Martin E. Jackson; his mother, Lorene Jackson; and his brother, Irman Jackson.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Paulette Jackson; son, Brian Jackson and wife, Robyn; daughter, Stacy Boenisch and husband, Keith; stepson, Tracy Elliott and wife, Mary; stepdaughter, Kari Elliott; stepson, Shane Phillips and wife, Bobbie Ann; 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Ortega; brother, Lonnie Jackson; countless family, friends and classmates; and his best friend, Gracie.
