LlaQueta Sue (Wood) Flournoy

LlaQueta Sue Flournoy went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2020.

LlaQueta was born in Cleburne, TX, on June 6, 1959 to Calton Llyod and Rita Mae Wood. She later moved to the Fort Worth area, where she worked as a bookkeeper for R. Williams Electric company. On July 28, 1979, LlaQueta married her true love, Jimmy Flournoy. She found joy in the great outdoors, whether she was fishing, camping,  or on the beach. LlaQueta's greatest passion was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, but also found relaxation and comfort in the quiet mornings drinking her coffee. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
LlaQueta is preceded by her father, Calton Lloyd Wood, and her brothers, Lloyd Dale Wood, Jackie Wood, Jimmy Ray Wood, Jerry Wood, Ricky Wood, & Randy Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Jimmy Dee Flournoy; son, Kevin Deeon Flournoy (Julia Reid); daughter, Krystal LlaMae Flournoy-Moore (Bradley); mother, Rita Mae Wood; five grandchildren, Alyssa Michelle Flournoy, Aubrey Marie Flournoy, Leighton Michael Moore, Harmony Rayne Lambert, & Blake Ryan Flournoy; and seven siblings and their spouses; mother-in-law, Betty Sue Flournoy; many nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
 
 
Visitation will be held at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Azleland Cemetery immediately after the funeral.
