Lawrence Wayne Harrelson, 62, of Weatherford, Texas was born on March 2, 1961, in Wichita Falls, Texas to parents, Leo and Barbara Harrelson. He passed away on March 10, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Lawrence, known to most as Wayne, graduated from Archer City High School prior to attending beauty school in Wichita Falls. On October 24, 1987, he married the love of his life, Kay Harrelson, and together created a beautiful life full of unforgettable memories. Wayne's dedication and hard-working demeanor were shown through his job of seventeen years at Weatherford Aerospace. When he wasn't working, Wayne could often be found cooking, painting, or enjoying his quiet time watching birds come and go. Above all, his best times were spent surrounded by his family and friends.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Leo and Barbara Harrelson, and his brother, Mark Harrelson.

Wayne will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Kay Harrelson of Weatherford, TX.; sons, Pat Roberts, Phillip Roberts, Steve Roberts, & Jeremy Songer all of Weatherford, TX.; daughter & son-in-law, Crystal & Chad Webb of Weatherford, TX.; brother & sister-in-law, Phillip & Sheriee Harrelson of Katy, TX.; sister, Patricia Custer of Waco, TX.; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home chapel.
