Katy M. Walker

Katy M Walker, 75, of Springtown TX, gained her angel wings, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in Decatur, TX.  She was born November 22, 1946  to Dewey and Margie Walker in Dyess AR. 

She was the eldest of six children.  She married her high school sweetheart Julian “Nick” Walker on July 11, 1969. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Those who knew her were blessed and will dearly be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Wells (Charles) of Dallas, TX and Russell Walker (Beth) of Springtown, TX. Grandchildren: Shanna Guthrie (Ryan), Tanda Hicks, Gregory Cullum (Allie), Ashley Ratliff (Chad), Kameron Walker and Avrey Wells.  Great grandchildren: Bryce and Kaylee Ratliff, Emmarey and Sadie Guthrie, Gavin Cullum and Braxtyn and Addyson Hicks. Two brothers: Grover and David Pay. Of course we can’t forget her fur baby Lola who she was devoted to along with many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Nick of 50 years, Parents Margie Pay, Dewey Walker, Step father David Pay, sister Carol Scroggins, two brothers Kenneth Pay and Dewey Walker Jr. and a baby girl.  A memorial service will be held Friday, December 10, 2020 at 3 pm at First United Methodist Church of Boyd, 540 S. Allen St. Boyd, TX 76023.
