Jose Lopez Obituary

Jose Braulio Lopez

1944 -2022

Jose Braulio Lopez

1944 -2022

Jose Braulio Lopez went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on March 20, 1944 to Pascual Lopez Martinez and Martina Velez Garcia in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Jose was an exemplary son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He married the love of his life, Juanita, and together they shared 59 years together.  Jose spent his days working tirelessy to always make sure his family never went without.  His favorite time of day came around 5:00 AM when he was able to relax and enjoy his morning coffee.  Jose loved food, his favorites being enchiladas, mole, and steak.  His happiness lied within his family; as long as his wife, children and grandchildren were full of health and happy, he was satisfied.  Jose was a pillar that held up his family, his passing has left everyone with a great sadness.  He instilled in his children to love and respect their neighbors and to take pride and responsibility in the work they do.  Jose was an extraordinary human being with a great sense of humor. He never met a stranger and treated everyone with respect and kindness.  He loved mariachi music and playing his violin.  Jose used to keep his cooler full of fresh and healthy food. He loved his truck and was continuously filling his gas tank, sometimes to the point of it overflowing.  Jose had a green thumb and spent countless hours tending to his fruit trees, vegetables, and paying close attention to his jalapeno trees.

Jose left his family with great memories throughout his journey on Earth.  Rest in peace, we will see you in Heaven.

Jose will be deeply and lovingly missed by his family, Juanita, Roy, Rocio, Gloria, Conchita, Willy and Izzy.
