Jonathan McGee Obituary

Jonathan Clifton McGee, 41, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Jonathan was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Cliff and Judy McGee on May 15, 1979.  Jonathan graduated from Keller High School in Keller, TX as a Texas Scholar.  Jonathan received two Associates Degrees from Trinity Valley College.  The first was an Applied Science Degree in Computer Information Technology and his second was an Associates of Art Degree.  Jonathan was within months of completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.  Jonathan was employed as a salesman with BugBros and was co-owner of Phoenix Premier.  Jonathan was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.  He enjoyed working out, playing disc golf, video gaming, reading, and computers.  Jonathan was an ardent fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks.  But above everything else, Jonathan was devoted to his children.

To know Jonathan was to love him, as he rarely met a stranger and was willing to help those he met. He made friends easily and was blessed with the "gift of gab".  Jonathan will be remembered for his infectious laugh that could light up any room.  He often had a hard time wiping the smile off his face...even when it would get him into trouble...which it did quite a number of times.

Jonathan is survived by his daughter, Jillian McGee-Heitz; his son, Ozzy Gray McGee; his parents, Cliff and Judy McGee; his sister, Leeanna McGee-Taylor and her husband, Sean; his brother, Jacob McGee; his special loved ones, Ozzy's mother, Madison Dunn and Brittany Brown; his cousins and close friends, Jason and Elaine Hughes, Missy Allinder Cornwall, Christie Huskey, Valtaree Phillips Boyd, Jeffery Cruse, Niki Cruse Schwartz; his aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members, beloved friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ who are all mourning his passing.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandparents:  William Jack McGee and Lillian Kitchell McGee, Henry Ford Lawson and Tressie Birmingham Lawson.  Even though the time has not been long enough we are honored to celebrate the dash between the day Jonathan entered this world and the day he left it and we encourage you to do the same.
