Johnny Clay Nichols went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 4, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. Johnny was born on September 2, 1951 to his parents, Alvin Clay Nichols and Reva Mae Nichols in Ranger, Texas.

Johnny grew up in a home filled with much love that he shared with his three siblings. Johnny was an amazing person who loved spreading the Gospel and leading people to the Lord. He enjoyed karaoke, fishing and hunting.  He was an avid fan and loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys play football. Most importantly Johnny was a family man. Family meant everything to Johnny, and he was always there for them and anyone that considered Johnny a friend.

Johnny will be deeply and lovingly miss by his daughter, Rebekah Barron; his son-in-law, Michael Barron; his son, Johnny Nichols Jr; his daughter-in-law, Mandi Nichols; his grandchildren, Sarah Barron, Stephen Barron, Zane Barron, Martin Barron, Dillon Nichols, Cailin Nichols, Kylie Nichols, and Avery Nichols; his great grandchildren, Stetson Barron, Marshall Barron, and Jolena Barron; his sisters, Barbara Sharp and Billie Worthey; his brother in law, Neal Worthey; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family members.
