It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Israel Matthew Alvarez, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, humor and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born on March 14, 1997 in Oxnard, California, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2004 where he graduated from Saginaw High School in 2015 and went on to be a Train Operator at BNSF for 4 years and spent the past several months working at Moritz Kia in Alliance, Texas.

Israel had a zest for life that was infectious, approaching every day with a smile and desire to bring joy and laughter to others. He was loving and devoted, always looking out for his mother, brothers, their wives and his friends. He had a deep love for anime, drawing, video games with the boys, golfing and gym life. His presence truly brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Israel’s passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, we know that his memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to all who knew him. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and the love he brought into our lives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 PM.
