Ida Roseberry Obituary

Ida Roseberry

1941-2021

Ida Nell Boring Roseberry, 80, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2021.

Ida was born on March 9, 1941 during WWII, a time of sacrifice and heroic effort, when her mother, Zella Mae Boring, and her father, Ernest Boring, lived in White Settlement while he was building aircrafts for the war. She was a beautiful and happy baby that was the apple of her father’s eye.  It did not take long to realize that her date of birth was fitting for the woman that she would become. After the war, her parents moved to Anson, Texas to be closer to family. Shortly after Ida started school, she was proven to be smart and a gifted artist which kept improving as her education years continued in Anson.  Much like a butterfly, Ida emerged as a beautiful woman.  She married the love of her life, Vernon Roseberry, and together they shared five children, Dale, John, Glenda, Terry and Christopher. For Ida, her life was devoted to her family and her church, but when she could, she spent time painting and working on crafts. If it were possible to take a poll on what kind of person Ida was, no one would have a bad word to say about her kind heart. When God opens her book of life, the words that will spring from the pages are her honesty, her self-sacrifice, and her love for her family. If anyone in the world deserves to rest in peace with God, it is this beautiful person.

Ida will be deeply and lovingly missed by her husband, Vernon Roseberry; children, Dale Roseberry, Glenda Austin and husband, Frank, Terry Roseberry, John Roseberry, Chris Roseberry Sr and wife, Brenda Roseberry; nine grandchildren, Nathan Roseberry, Bethany Austin, Douglas Austin, Brian Austin, Michelle Roseberry, Jamie Fertal, Corey Shanklin, Taylor Roseberry, and Christopher Roseberry Jr; five great-grandchildren, Jarod Roseberry Martin, Tessa Roseberry, Alicia Fertal, Marcus Fertal, and Madison Fertal; brother, Charley Boring; and a host of loving family and friends.
