After a life fleetingly lived, Hunter D. Henson, 22, avid gamer, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, passed from this world early on the morning, Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Hunter was born in Denton County, Texas on Saturday, September 25, 1999. Being full of spirit and with an infectious personality, Hunter grew up in the DFW metropolitan area with his two siblings, Tyler V. Henson and Alexis G. Henson. It was clear that Hunter would be the tallest among the siblings, as he passed his older brother and sister in height early on. He was loved and adored by his father, Travis Henson, and his mother, Samantha Espinoza. As a child, Hunter loved to play outside, go on adventures, and play with animals (that sometimes he would sneak into the house, much to his mother's consternation.) As Hunter grew up, he was quick to surround himself with hobbies that fueled his imagination including playing the Xbox, Dungeons & Dragons, going to air shows, fishing with his dad, watching baseball, and building computers/tinkering with electronics. After high school, Hunter was certified in a few graphics specialties while he quickly rose through the management ranks working at Domino's Pizza. You would rarely find Hunter dressed in formal attire; his go-to was always jeans and a t-shirt which was one of his amiable qualities, others being his smile, giving big hugs, his laugh, and his creative imagination.
Forever in our hearts, your family loves you Hunter Dakota Henson.
Hunter is preceded in death by his birth mother, Heather Slack; grandmother, Patricia Henson; and grandmother, Laura Slack.
Hunter will be deeply and lovingly missed by his father, Travis V. Henson of Plano, TX; mother, Samantha G. Espinoza and her husband, Roberto Espinoza of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Tyler V. Henson and his wife, Ruhina S. Henson of Bedford, TX; sister, Alexis G. Henson and Angel Chavez of Fort Worth, TX; nephew, Aiden E. Chavez of Fort Worth, TX; 3 sets grandparents; auntie; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; brother, Alexander William Hageman; and close friends.
