Gary Herrera

Gary Herrera passed gained his wings on August 21, 2020.

Visitation will be held at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM. A graveside service is to follow at Azleland Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

Gary was born in Bryan, TX to Braulio and Janie on December 19, 1969.  He married the love of his life, Jessica Garcia, and together made a beautifully blended family.  Gary wasn't a man of many words, but was very humorous in his own way.  He worked hard to provide for his family and has always stuck by his wife's side no matter the circumstances.  Most don't know but Gary was a real sweetheart.  He spent most of his time reminiscing on how proud he was of his children and grandchildren.  Gary was a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan and would let everyone know.  Above all, he loved his family (brothers, sisters, wife, children, grandchildren) and even though they couldn't all stay in touch as much as they should, Gary never forgot how much he was loved by each and everyone of them.

Gary will be deeply missed by his wife, Jessica; parents, Braulio and Janie; brothers, Junior Herrera, Lorenzo Jimenez, Julian Jimenez, Felix Herrera, Pascual Herrera, and James Herrera; sisters, Debbie Herrera, Felicia Soriano, Ermalinda Kirksey, and Ellen Herrera; children, Gary Herrera Jr., Michael Andrew Herrera, Samantha Herrera, Esai Ojeda, Joseph Quintero, Gilselle Victoria Herrera, Gary Ethan Herrera, and Samuel Garcia Herrera; grandchildren, Manuel Rodriguez, Natalie Rodriguez, Nadia Rodriguez, Nayelli Rodriguez, Lewis Noel Arriola Jr., Eric Daniel Ojeda, and Andrew Jose Herrera; and a host of loving friends.
