Gary Zane Bell
March 4, 1954 - January 20, 2021
Gary Zane Bell, 66, was a resident of Ft. Worth, Texas. Gary was a life long native of Azle, TX. Gary went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2021, at his father’s home in Azle, Texas after a short struggle with cancer.
Gary was the son of Tom Bell and Jacklyn Hardesty-Bell. Gary was born on March 4, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. Gary attended Azle High School and graduated in 1972. After graduation he attended culinary school in France where he earned a culinary arts degree. Gary had a opportunity to work at bothe the Reata Restaurant and Century Two Dinner Club for a couple of years where he honed his culinary skills. Gary took his passion for food with him when he went to work at La Madeleine French Bakery and Cafe. Gary worked twenty-five years with them.. Gary was a very altruistic person who loved people and life. He volunteered at Casa Manana and Mayfest.and was passionate about devoting his time to many of Fort Worth’s festive activities including art festivals and museums. Gary was always outgoing, and a very loyal and caring person. Gary will be dearly missed by his community. Gary was the type of person that people instantly gravitated to. It did not matter what walk of life that he encountered, it was easy for Gary to mix with ease with every social class. One could say that Gary had a unique ability to hob knob and rub elbows with all people he met.
Gary is survived by his father, Tom Bell; his sister, Shary Moore; his nephew, Kris Moore; his nieces, Kimberly Meissner and Misty Donnell; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Jacklyn Bell.
A Visitation will be held at the Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
Following the Funeral Service, Internment will be held at Azleland Cemetery and Memorial Park.
