Eugene Augustine St. Cyr, 82, of Azle, Texas, passed away on August 10, 2023. He was born on January 18, 1941, in Methuen, Massachusetts. Eugene was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Eugene was known for his fun-loving and caring nature. He had a heart full of laughter and humor, always bringing joy to those around him. He had a passion for “dancing” and telling jokes, and his lively personality lit up any room he entered. Eugene also had a deep love for horses, finding solace and companionship in their presence.

As an entrepreneur, Eugene found success in his career. However, his most cherished role was always being a loving husband and father to his family. He was a pillar of support and kindness, always there to help guide others in words of wisdom. Eugene's dedication to his loved ones was unwavering and will forever be remembered.

In his free time, Eugene enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows and staying up-to-date with the news. He also found excitement and entertainment in visiting the casino and exploring new destinations during his travels. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to create cherished memories with his family and friends.

Eugene is survived by his devoted wife, Carole St. Cyr, his loving brother John St. Cyr, and his children: Michele Doherty, Mark St. Cyr, Karin Purcell, John Danahy, Colleen Danahy, Brittany Osborn, and Brianna Danahy. He was also a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Marian St. Cyr, and his brother, Jimmy St. Cyr.

A Celebration of Life to honor Eugene's life will be held on August 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home, 850 N Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX, 76020. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their memories of Eugene during this time of remembrance.

Eugene Augustine St. Cyr will be remembered as a loving and vibrant individual who touched the lives of many. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and support will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
