Ellie Mae (Turman) Turman-Gallivan

Ellie Mae Turman-Galllivan, 75, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Azleland Cemetery and Memorial Park on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 PM.

Ellie was born on December 25, 1945 in Yuma, Arizona to the late Willie Lorene Hunsinger and Leon Turman.  She married her husband of fifty-six year, Richard Gallivan, and settled in Azle, Texas.  Together, they raised three daughters.  Ellie was a joyous person and rarely was she seen not smiling and laughing.  She enjoyed reading in her free time, but above all she adored spending time with her family.  Ellie was an Angel on Earth; now, she is one in Heaven.   

Ellis is preceded in passing by her eldest daughter, Nancy Smith, who passed away in 2013; her parents; and her three older brothers.  

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her husband, Richard Gallivan; daughters, Cathy Jones and husband, Jamie, and Cindy Gallivan; grandchildren, Jimmy Rankin, Josh Smith, Shayla Smith, Rachel Gallivan, Zachary Sterling (Sheryl), Kellee Sterling and Crystal Sterling; great-grandchildren, Camden and Lilly; one younger sister of Iowa; and a host of loving friends.
