In Loving Memory of Dragica Kuresevic (April 25, 1935 - August 19, 2023)
Dragica Kuresevic, born on April 25, 1935, in Serbia, peacefully departed from this world on August 19, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Jokan and Mara Grasarevic. A woman of remarkable devotion and love, she leaves behind a legacy that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
A nurturing and dedicated mother, Dragica's culinary skills brought warmth to her family's table. Her passion for crafting, particularly crochet, was evident in the beautiful sweaters she lovingly created for her family. She found solace in nurturing her garden, a reflection of her connection to the beauty of nature.
Her deep faith was a cornerstone of her life. Growing up in the Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition, she embraced her spirituality with unwavering devotion. In 1950, she embarked on a journey of love and partnership when she married Ljubomir Kuresevic, a bond that lasted until his passing in 1985.
Dragica's memory lives on through her daughter Jakla Sanjic and her son Elijah Kuresevic and his wife Ilinka. Her cherished grandchildren, Andrea Kuresevic and Julia Sanjic, were a testament to the love and wisdom she shared. Though she joins her parents and husband in the eternal embrace, her spirit will forever shine through the lives she touched.
