Doris Jean Brooks went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2019. Doris was born on October 25, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents, Aileen and Charles Dickson.

Doris was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Doris loved the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and she loved cooking the Thanksgiving dinner. She was talented in drawing and painting. Doris was a dependable employee at 7-11 for over twenty years.

Doris was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Ann Brumley, her mother, Aileen Dickson, her father, Charles Dickson, her sister, Joyce Miller along with many other precious aunts and uncles.

Doris is survived by her children, Donna Brooks, Laura Windle, Karen Cieminski, Donald Lee Brooks and Denise Brooks. Her sister, Linda Dunn, her brother, Jim Dickson and wife, Sharon. Her four grandsons, two granddaughters, three great grandsons, two great granddaughters and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be on November 15, 2019 at 2pm at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery located at 7301 E. Lancaster Ave Fort Worth, Texas 76112.
