Deborah "Debi" Jeannine Scott of Caddo, Oklahoma went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 02, 2020 at 1:58 AM after suffering a heart attack in McAlester, Oklahoma. Deborah was born on June 15, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents Pleas George Scott and Sherry Jean Jeter-Scott. Debi resided in Caddo, Oklahoma with her brother, Dennis Scott.
Debi was retired for many years having worked primarily in the propery management industry. Everyone that knew Debi understood that she excelled at her job. She prided herself in being passionate about whatever task she was given. The primary focus of Debi's life though was her family. She loved her family like no mother could and she raised three amazing, beautiful and independent children. Debi was especially proud of her six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Debi's hobbies included travel. She loved to cruise. Debi loved reading and was very interested in researching and learning about her families geneology. Debi spent the majority of her time with her family.
Debi is survived by her partner in crime Terry Thornton; her daughter Michele and son-in-law Chris Reno; her son, Jack Teel; her daughter, Alisha and her wife Becky Llorente Scott; her grandsons, Sammy Byers, Jacob Roberts, Jackie Teel, Haden Reno, Rowan Llorente Scott, Micha Llorente Scott and seven greatgrandchildren, Debi is also survived by her step-mother, Judy Scott; her brothers, Dennis and Mickey Scott; her sistrers, Carrie Scott, BJ Mashburn and Shelly Scott; her Aunt and Uncle, Rose and Raymond Dyer and Sue and Jim Hofer as well as, many other extended family members and friends.
Debi was preceded in death by both of her parents, Sherry Jean Gann and Pleas "Buddy" Scott. She was also preceded by her sisters, Teri Miller and Christi Scott; her grandmother and grandfather, Dorothy and Raymond Richter.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 06, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home on the grounds of Azleland Cemetery at 850 N. Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Life for Deborah will begin at 2:00 PM at the same location. Burial will be privately held at Azleland Cemetery following the Funeral Service.
Deborah's family coordially invites anyone that knew and loved her to come and help the family celebrate Deborah's life. A life very well lived. Debi loved beautiful flowers, a few of her favorites were yellow and white roses. She adored Irises and Daisy's and all of these are welcome to be brought or sent to the funeral home to help brighten the celebration of this amazing woman's life.
