Davy Sharp was born on December 24, 1970 in Mckinney, Texas to his parents, Jessie David Sharp and Barbara Sue Sharp. Davy went home to our Lord and Savior on April 13, 2022.
Davy was a long time resident of Palo Pinto County. He was an accomplished carpenter by trade, but the one thing that brought him the most joy was drawing in his spare time. Davy was the kind of person that was a friend to everyone. He never met a stranger. Davy touched the lives of everyone that he met with his wit, his quick humor, and absolutely unbelievable stories.
Davy is survived by his mother, Barbara Sue Talley and her husband, Jimmy Talley. He is also remembered by his son, Doc Sharp and his family, Hailey, Everleigh, and Axel Sharp. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Shanna Elkey and her husband, Tom Elkey. Davy also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Cassi Tanner and her husband, Nic Tanner, and, Brooke Thurston.
Davy has been reunited with his dad, Jessie David Sharp; his grandparents, Bill and Mildred Havens and DC and Betty Sharp.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at The Church of Christ in Perrin, Texas at 2:00pm.
Services will be officiated by David Havens.
