We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home
David Ray Montes, loving husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on June 3, 2022. He was born on January 23, 1963 to Alejandro and Josephina Montes in El Paso, Texas.
David was devoted to his Lord and to his family. He and his family spent many nights camping, attending baseball games, cooking out and swimming. David never missed watching his kids march in the band or performing their concerts. He will be truly missed here on Earth, but we are certain we will see him again one day in the presence of our Lord in Heaven.
He has been reunited with his parents, and brother, Henry Montes and Lawrence Montes, in God's Eternal Kingdom.
David will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Ann Montes; daughters, Destiny Montes and Nazaketh Montes; sons, Jonathan Montes and Michael Montes; grandchildren, Elijah Montes, Jayden Ray, and Makennzi Ray; sisters, Irene Aceves (Javier) and Barbara Espinoza (Ken); brothers, Al Montes and Bill Montes; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Springtown beginning at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
