Darrell Willis Obituary

Darrell Lynn Willis went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2020. He was born on July 15, 1957 to Oscar and Jessie Willis. At age 10 months, after his mother passed away, he was raised by John and Hallie Hill. Darrell will be dearly missed as an amazing husband and Papa. He was always willing to help out and loved his family very much. Darrell retired from Simms Lumber Co where he was a truck driver.

Darrell is preceded in death by his previous wife, Gayle Willis; daughter, Hallie Willis; brothers, Billy Willis and Dale Willis; sister, Peggy Hunnicutt; mother, Jessie Willis; and adoptive parents, John and Hallie Hill. He is survived by his wife, Christy Willis; grandson, Gael Ramirez; granddaughter, Jaclyn Gonzales; brothers, Bobby Willis (Denna), Kenneth Willis (Leigh), Loyd Willis; and sisters, Shirley Beauchamp, Louise Gonce; and father, Oscar Willis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28th at 11:00am at the Gospel Light Baptist Church, 601 Country Club Pkwy, Mineral Wells, Tx.
