Charlotte Karon Harris 1948-2021
Charlotte Karon Harris left this life to be with her heavenly father on October 4, 2021 after battling cancer.
Charlotte was born on February 19, 1948 to Walter B. and Sarah Ruth Corley in Fort Worth, Texas.
Charlotte attended and graduated from Lake Worth ISD in 1966 where she was a cheerleader, band member, and outstanding athlete. Charlotte met the love of her life, David Harris and they married in 1967. She went on to receive her realtor’s license, a nursing degree, and retired from Lockheed Martin. She enjoyed tournament bass fishing with her husband, her many dogs and cats, helping with their cattle, flowers, and her horses and horseback riding, but most of all spending time with her family.
Charlotte loved the Lord and attended Walnut Creek Baptist Church. She was quick to laugh and willing to help anyone in need. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, dedicated daughter, and wonderful sister.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, David; sons, Stephen and wife Shawna, Bryan and wife Kim; mother, Sarah Ruth Corley; sister, Glenda and husband, Jimmy; brother-in-law, Vernon Harris and wife, Linda; nephews, Vernon Harris Jr. and wife, Debra, Glen and wife, Becky, Jeff and wife, Sara; nieces, Kari and husband, Trey; grandchildren, Brandon and wife, Lauren, Bryce, Lexi, Kenzi and husband, Tyler and numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charlotte is reunited with her father, Walter B. Corley.
Charlotte’s life was a blessing to all who knew her, her memory a treasure, she was loved beyond words and will be missed forever.
