Carla Kay Groschup

Carla Kay Groschup, 60, of Azle, Texas, passed away on March 27, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 29, 2021 at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 2:00 PM.

Carla was born on December 31, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas to Carl Joseph Groschup and Cecilia Ann Shepard.  She earned her degree in Cosmetology, and began working not only as a Cosmetologist, but as a full-time mother as well.  Carla loved her two daughters, Cara and Kimberly, but she was truly proud the day she earned the title Grandma. 

Carla could spend hours outside in her garden or inside painting and crafting.  She was an avid music lover; her fun-spirited personality came out most while attending concerts, which she did often. Carla had a kind and compassionate nature that was known by all and will never be forgotten.

She reunites with her father, Carl Joseph Groschup, in Heaven.

Carla’s legacy will live on through her daughters, Cara Danielle Randall and spouse, Robert Michael Randall, and Kimberly Mishay Smith and spouse, James Gordon Smith; her mother and step-father, Cecilia Ann Shepard and Fred Marten Shepard; her brother, David Glen Groschup; her grandchildren, Kyler Joseph Terry (17), Kelton Michael Randall (9), and Elizabeth Mae Smith (3 months); and a host a loving friends that became family.
