1989 – 2020

Brittney Kay Wood went to be with the lord on February 20, 2020 in Mount Vernon, Texas. Brittney was born on May 4, 1989 at Nocona General Hospital in Nocona, Texas. She was the second child born to Tonya Kay Skinner.

Brittney graduated from Joshua High School in 2008 with perfect attendance. While attending high school she became the manager of the Joshua High School Sweetheart dance team. Shortly after graduation she moved to West Texas with her high school sweetheart, whom she had two daughters with.

Brittney will be deeply and lovingly missed by her boyfriend, Donovan Isley; her daughters, Allie and Addison Trussell; her mother, Tonya Skinner and fiancé, Rob Jones; her sisters, Courtney Pigg and husband, Jason Pigg and four children, Bailey Press and husband, Andy Press and their five children, Erin McKnight and husband, Blake McKnight and their two children, her two younger siblings, Chance Covington and Kylee Covington; her uncles and aunts, Steve and Tammy Skinner, Terry and Sylvia Skinner; her grandparents, Margie Skinner, Herman and Linda Skinner; along with other loving family members and dear friends.

A public visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday February 29, 2020 at our Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel located, 850 N Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020 
A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday February 29, 2020 at our Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel located, 850 N Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020
