Brenda was welcomed into the world on January 1, 1944 in Gorman, Texas to Leslie and Verna Pauline Buckner. She was a selfless woman and continuously put others before herself. Brenda was a devout Christian and often shared her love of the Lord with everyone. She never hesitated to lift up in prayer those in need of guidance and healing. Her presence brought joy to all around, especially her family. Although Brenda was a proud mother, her heart was truly filled when she became a grandmother. Brenda cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren which consisted of sharing hours of laughter and creating memories. She was the center of her family and of their hearts. Brenda will be greatly missed, but will be carried on in each family member's hearts always.
"Love never dies."
She has been reunited with her husband, Richard Scott; parents, Leslie and Verna Buckner; sister, Carol Githens; and brothers, Sonny & David Buckner, in Heaven.
