Bobby Ray Looper, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 24, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park with visitation being held prior at 9:00 AM.
Bobby was born on October 3, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas to Timothy and Gayla Looper. He had a giving heart and loved to lend a helping hand. For many years, Bobby was Santa Clause and every Christmas Eve he would show up at his parent’s house, where everyone was gathered, and hand out presents and candy canes. He took so much pride in being a father, and always kept things “interesting.” Whether he was putting hot sauce on the end of straws and placing it in Courtnie’s drink or replacing a bell pepper with a jalapeno pepper in Kaden’s lunch, the jokes were endless. Bobby had a green thumb and even built his own hydroponic garden for his vegetables, but his craftsmanship didn’t stop there, he also spent some of his free time re-building cars. He was a beekeeper for many years, the only problem was that he was extremely afraid of bees leading Courtnie to go on “bee patrol” prior to him entering the barn. When Bobby wasn’t contemplating the next prank to pull, he spent a lot of his time outdoors, fishing, riding bikes, and operating remote control airplanes and cars. Above all, he loved spending time with his children. Bobby’s humorous personality and giving heart will be deeply missed by all.
Bobby is preceded in passing by his mother, Gayla Looper, and his grandparents, Orville and Irene Looper, and Jesse and Anne Steadman.
He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his children, Makayla Looper and Kaden Looper; father, Tim Looper, brother, Danny Looper and wife, Victoria; nieces, Tatum, Lexie, and Lanie; and a host of loving friends.
