Billy Doyle Griffin was called home on May 12, 2021 in Azle, TX, he was 58 years old. Billy was born in Fort Worth Texas on June 14, 1963 to Vernon Doyle Griffin and Billie Odessa Brickey. Bill loved being at the beach and his favorite beach area in Texas was the Padre Island/Port Aransas area. Bill liked heavy metal music, he loved movies, and he also enjoyed history books and movies. He loved his Dallas Cowboys. Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Vernon Doyle Griffin, and Billie Odessa Brickey Kring Griffin Farrar and step-dad D.R. Farrar, and his sister Deborah Ann Kennedy. Bill is survived by his uncles and their wives Bobby Brickey of Weatherford, TX, Mack and Chevilla Brickey, and Tony and Dale Brickey, both of Albuquerque, NM; aunt and husband Esta and Bill Graf of Keller, TX; his two brothers and their wives, Scott Kring and wife Angie of Eustace, TX, and Barry Kring and wife Brenda of Fort Worth, TX.

He is also survived by his nephews and nieces and their spouses, Greg and Sheri Kring,Fort Worth, TX, Justin and Cameron Trice, Fort Smith, AR, Jennifer and George Barbary of Mansfield, TX, Shelley McGlothlin and fiancé Scott Lee of Burleson, TX, Cody Kennedy of Lubbock, TX, Rachel Kring and companion Private John Pruitt of Fayetteville, NC; many great nephews and nieces and friends. Bill is also survived by his longtime friend Shonda Paterson of Florida. Bill suffered from a lifelong disease, he is now free of the demons that troubled him and for that we are grateful. Bills wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered in the Gulf of Mexico. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
