Billy Lee Dolen passed away on February 28, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.  Billy was born on May 3, 1965 in San Bernardino, California to his parents, Billy O’dell Dolen and Mary Virginia McLain-Dolen.

Billy was a professional truck driver. He enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the many experiences and stories he picked up along the way. Billy was a humble man that enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved his kids, wife, family, and friends dearly. They brought so much joy into his life. In return, he was greatly loved. Billy had a wonderful personality that kept life fun. He always had something to say or a story to tell. Billie loved to bring joy and laughter to everyone.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Gena Dee Dolen; his daughter, Amanda Lee Dolen and her husband, Shawn; his son, Andrew O’Dell Dolen; his mother, Mary Virginia Dolen; his brother, Lawrence E. Garrison; his sister, Deborah K. Garrison-Wood and her husband, Herby; his sister, Donna D. Eppinette-Williams and her husband, David; his grandson, Christopher L. Dolen; along with aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews; along with other loving family members and friends.

Billy is preceded in death by his father, Billy O’dell Dolen and his sister, Vada Garrison-Naron.

All services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at
Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home 850 N. Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00p.m.
