Beverly Ann Reese-Hill

1946  - 2019

Beverly Ann Reese-Hill was born on February 4, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents Willy Clyde Reese and Yuba Gideon-Reese.  She returned to her Lord and Savior on December 27, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas.  Beverly was proud that she remained a resident of Fort Worth her entire life.

Beverly attended and graduated from Trimble Tech High School and later met and married Robert Bruce Sr. in 1962.  Beverly stayed at home to raise her three children; Tammy, Crystal and Robert Jr.   Beverly volunteered her time to the Mica Organization for eight years, tending to the needs of people, where she helped with the food pantry, job placement as well as helping clothe those in need.  

Beverly met Sam Hill and they were married on Valentine's Day in 1983.  Family meant everything to Beverly and she was very proud of her six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Beverly was loved by a great number of people over her life time and she was blessed to have two best friends, Sharon Tallant and Carolyn Fleetwood,  that she shared sixty-five years of friendship with, 

Beverly is survived by her children; Tammy Bruce-Tennes, Crystal Garcia and Robert James Bruce and his wife, Vickie.  Beverly also leaves behind her sister, Linda Boyd and her husband, John; her sister-in-law, Wanda Reese and her best friend Carolyn Fleetwood.

Beverly was preceded in death by both of her parents; her brothers, James Roy, Clyde and Eddy Reese; and her best friend Sharon Tallant.

While the family is greatly saddened by their loss, they wish for everyone that knew Beverly to come celebrate her life on Friday evening, January 3, 2020 at 6:00 PM at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home at 850 N. Cardinal Rd. in Azle, Texas.
