In Loving Memory of
William Harold Todd Jr.
1957 - 2024
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Harold Todd Jr., a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on January 9, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, to William and Maidee Todd, William lived a life full of love, passion, and dedication.
William grew up in Fort Worth, surrounded by his family and a deep appreciation for the world around him. From a young age, he showed an incredible talent for music. Whether it was listening to his favorite albums, playing his guitar, or attending concerts, music was always an integral part of William's life. His love for melodies and rhythms shaped much of who he was and added to his vibrant and energetic spirit.
Professionally, William was known for his dedication and passion for his work. He worked as an Aircraft Assembler at Lockheed Martin, where he spent 42 years of his life. His commitment to the company and the pride he took in his work were evident in everything he did. William's contribution to the company, and the friendships he built over the years, remain a testament to his hard work and integrity.
William's greatest pride and joy were his family, especially his soulmate, Patsy. William and Patsy were inseparable from the moment they met. After dating for only a short time, they knew they were meant to be together, and they were married on June 12, 1981, in Arlington, Texas, beginning a lifelong journey as best friends, partners, and true soulmates. Their love for one another was deep and unwavering, and they shared every moment of their lives, through good times and challenges, always supporting each other with love and devotion.
Together, William and Patsy raised two sons, William Harold Todd III and Randy Kyle Todd. William Jr. was not only a loving and devoted father but also an active and engaged one. He was involved in his sons' lives in every way possible, from coaching their sports teams to attending their after-school events. His presence and support meant the world to them, and his love and guidance shaped them into the men they are today.
Beyond his devotion to his family, William had a deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter who reveled in the beauty of nature. Whether he was spending time by a quiet lake or in the woods, William's connection with the outdoors brought him peace and joy. He also had a lifelong passion for mechanics and all things related to cars and motorcycles. William's love for engines and motors was so great that he spent countless hours teaching his sons how to take them apart and put them back together. His mechanical skills, along with his ability to problem-solve and fix anything, left an indelible mark on his family and friends.
William was a compassionate man, a wonderful husband, and a devoted father. His kindness, generosity, and ability to make those around him feel loved and valued were qualities that made him truly special. He will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, lived fully, and gave his all to those he held dear.
William is survived by his loving wife, Patsy A. Todd; his son, William Harold Todd III; his son, Randy Kyle Todd; his sister, Deborah and her husband Dan Fenech; his sister, Kay Riley; his brother-in-law, Steven and his wife Delene Baty; his brother-in-law, Michael Baty; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who were fortunate enough to know him.
