Weldon Henry Hufsey, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM.  Funeral Services are to follow at 2:00 PM and committal will take place at Azleland Cemetery.

Weldon was born in Cave-In-Rock, IL on November 11, 1934 to Maxie Earl and Verdna Alma Hufsey.  He later moved to the Chicago area, where he worked for AT&T for 30 years.  In 1986, Weldon retired and moved back to his beloved Cave-In-Rock where he stayed until moving to Azle, Texas to be closer to his family.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and water skiing.  Weldon's greatest passion was his family.  His grandchildren have fond memories of fishing with their Papaw.  Weldon's great-grandchildren also enjoyed visiting and fishing with their Papaw/Poppy.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Weldon is preceded by his parents Maxie Earl Hufsey and Verdna Alma Milligan Hufsey.

Survivors include his sister, Joyce McDowell; two sons, Barry Hufsey and Keith Hufsey (Christina); five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.
