In Loving Memory of Wanda Lynn Scarlett

1958 - 2024

Wanda Lynn Scarlett, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on May 23, 2024.  She was born on February 18, 1958 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Billy Edward Deal and Rositta Gugaluva Deal.

Wanda has been reunited with her parents; sister, Grace Ann Youngblood; and granddaughter, Desiree Logue; in God's Eternal Kingdom.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughter, Brandy Mitchell and husband, Joseph; significant other, Dennis Hightower; grandchildren, Haven Logue, Jayden Mendoza, Christian Mendoza, and Emaleigh Mitchell; sister ,Yasmin Garza and husband, Juan; nieces, Michelle Flores, Jennifer Garza, and Jackie Youngblood; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
