Virginia Ruth Powell, 75, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2022.  She was born on July 28, 1946 in Eastland County to Joe Allen and Rose Lee Perkins.  Throughout her time she wore many different badges: daughter, sister, wife, and friend.  However, she considered her greatest one being "Mom."
She was preceded in passing by her parents, and sister, Shirley Price.
Virginia will be deeply and lovingly missed by her spouse, Jimmy Powell of Fort Worth; son, Joe Hicks and wife, Tina of North Richland Hills; brothers, Allen Dale Perkins and Roger Perkins of Fort Worth; sister, Betty Pollard of White Settlement; niece, Sheila Snyder of Fort Worth; and a host of loving extended family and friends.
