Tommie Louise Sowell

1936 – 2019

Tommie Louise Sowell passed away on October 21, 2019. Tommie was born on November 22, 1936. Tommie was a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Tommie was a beautiful person inside and out, she loved her flowers and could grow them like no one we have ever seen. Tommie will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughters, Gina Hines, Susan Guebert and husband Glenn, and Sandra Edson; her son, Bill Mayo and significant other, Linda Mullenix. Tommie is also survived by her loving husband Lloyd Mayo; her grandchildren, Wynona Presley and husband Airic Presley, Jessica "Mandy" Simmons and husband Shane; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and dear friends. Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Clarence Sowell, and baby Sowell.

A Funeral Service will be held at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home located at 850 N Cardinal Rd. Azle, Texas 76020
